Visiting old friends

It’s been a busy past couple of weeks. I’ve been out and about in Houston, catching up with all sorts of old friends. I’ve also ben treating myself fairly well, with christmas presents to myself of a new laptop, digital camera, and GPS. I figured with the upcoming season at the pole again, it’ll be nice to have some new toys.
Last night was an amazing adventure in the town of Angleton. It’s a little town about 40 miles from clear lake where an old Austin friend lives now with her best friend. I went down to visit, and was plesantly suprised to discover how much a small town can offer in the way of entertainment and just plain good folks. Of course today I’m pretty hung over, but it was well worth it!
